If you're using Ubersuggest to track your SEO performance, you can also monitor your competitors to see how you stack up. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to add, remove, and manage competitors in your project.

Adding Competitors After Creating a Project

To start tracking competitors, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Dashboard.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you locate the ¨My Competitors¨ box.

3. Click on “Add Competitors to Track.”

After clicking “Add Competitors to Track”, here’s what to do:

4. A pop-up will appear asking you to choose your language and location.

5. Next, you can either:

• Select competitors from the suggested list on the left, or

• Type in the URLs of your competitors on the right.

6. Press Enter, then click “Start Tracking.”

Note: Don’t forget to confirm the location where you want to track your competitors. Please note that competitor tracking is only available at the country level.

For example, if your project location is set to a specific city like New York, New York, US, your competitors will still be tracked at the national level (United States), not specifically within the city of New York.

Once you're done, you'll be taken to the Competitor Tracking section, where you can view and compare their SEO metrics.

How to Remove Competitors

To delete a competitor from your tracking list:

1. Scroll down to the Competitor Tracking section in your project.

2. Check the box next to the competitor you want to remove.

3. Confirm the deletion.

Competitor Tracking Limits by Plan

Your plan determines how many competitors you can track:

• Individual Plan: Up to 5 competitors

• Business Plan: Up to 10 competitors

• Agency/Enterprise Plan: Up to 15 competitors

Note: The number of tracked competitors is multiplied by the number of selected locations. 
For example, if you track 2 competitors in 3 locations, that counts as 6 competitor slots.
