If you're having trouble signing in or want to change how you log in, this guide covers both: switching your login method and resetting your password.
Login Methods Available
Ubersuggest offers two ways to sign in:
- Email and password
- Google sign-in (one-click login)
You can choose whichever works best for you. If you signed up with Google, you'll always log in using Continue with Google, unless you switch your login method (see below).
Changing Your Login Method
If you're currently signed in with Google, you can switch to an email-and-password login at any time.
- Go to Account & Billing.
- Click Change login method next to your current email address.
- Set a new, strong password.
Once this is done, you'll log in with your email and new password from now on.
Important: This change is permanent. Once you switch to email-and-password, you won't be able to sign back in with Google.
Resetting Your Password
How you reset your password depends on your login method.
If you use email and password:
- Go to the Ubersuggest login page.
- Click Forgot Password.
- Enter your registered email and click Reset Password.
- Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for the reset email, then follow the link to set a new password.
If you use Google sign-in:
Ubersuggest doesn't store a password for your account, so a reset email can't be sent. You'll need to reset your password directly through Google's account recovery process, then log back in using Continue with Google. If you'd rather use an email-and-password login going forward, you can switch your login method first (see above).
Troubleshooting a Missing Reset Email
If you don't receive the password reset email:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm you're using the email-and-password method, not Google sign-in.
- Try again using a private or incognito browser window.
- Double-check your email address for typos or extra spaces.

FAQ
Can I switch back to Google sign-in after changing to email and password?
No — this change is permanent. Choose carefully before switching.
Why can't I reset my password if I signed up with Google?
Ubersuggest doesn't store passwords for Google accounts, so password resets go through Google directly rather than through us.
What if I want to change my account email too?
That's a separate process — see How to Update or Change Email in Ubersuggest.
